Sale Sharks have confirmed World Cup-winning South Africa pair Faf de Klerk and Lood de Jager will go away the membership on the finish of the season.

Scrum-half De Klerk, 30, will depart after 4 seasons with Sale, whereas lock De Jager, 29, joined following the Springboks’ 2019 victory in Japan.

Each began the ultimate towards England and Sale team-mate Tom Curry.

Regardless of injury-disrupted spells for each since, they helped Sale end third within the Premiership final season.

De Klerk has made 95 appearances for Sale thus far, scoring 14 tries and 39 conversions in his 241 factors for the membership.

De Jager performed 25 occasions for the membership, scoring three tries.
