Chicago White Sox’s Eloy Jimenez leaves first rehab appearance with leg soreness

CHICAGO — White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez left a recreation with Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday after experiencing proper leg soreness, in response to the most important league workforce.

Jimenez, 25, has been out since April 23 with a proper hamstring damage and was enjoying in his first rehab recreation.

The four-year veteran left after reaching first base on a single within the second inning. He struck out in his first at-bat one inning earlier. He was changed by pinch runner Yermin Mercedes.

Jimenez missed a lot of final season after tearing his left pectoral tendon. He was hitting .222 with one house run this 12 months and was due again with the most important league workforce in a fashion of days.

The White Sox mentioned he’s day-to-day along with his newest ailment.
