Jack Buckner is about to be unveiled as the brand new chief government of UK Athletics after 5 years at British Swimming, in response to The Instances.
Buckner, himself a former athlete with world and European medals, joined British Swimming in May 2017 following his tenure as CEO at British Triathlon.
He changed David Sparkes as chief government who left to take up a task at world federation FINA.
Group GB swimmers completed with 4 medals amongst an eight-strong haul on the Tokyo Olympics in stark distinction to the athletes who completed twenty fourth within the medals desk, profitable three silver and three bronze medals.
