The Opening Day sport between the rival Red Sox and Yankees has been postponed due to inclement climate within the forecast Thursday in New York.
The sport has been rescheduled for Friday at 1:05 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium.
The Crimson Sox will begin Nathan Eovaldi whereas the Yankees will counter with Gerrit Cole in a pitching rematch of final yr’s American League Wild Card Recreation, which Boston received 6-2.
