Bathtub loose-head prop Beno Obano has signed a brand new contract to stay with the Premiership membership.

Obano, 27, has revamped 100 appearances for the membership since becoming a member of their academy in 2014.

He has not featured for Bathtub since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament of their defeat in opposition to Harlequins in October, nevertheless.

He earned his first of three worldwide caps for England within the 2021 Six Nations in opposition to Scotland.

“It hasn’t been an ideal period for me, but I’m fortunate to have support from a lot of good people at the club,” Obano stated.

“I came through the academy with several of boys who are still in the squad and I’m really proud of the journey we have all been on together.

“This season hasn’t gone the best way we as a bunch, and me as a person, would have needed however waiting for the longer term, there’s a lot to be constructive about.”
